Fawnskin is a "suburb" of Big Bear Lake. It's on the other side of the lake and has less than 500 full-time residents. Big Bear Lake is the big-city metropolitan area (haha), with almost 6000 residents!

I LOVE Big Bear, about 2 1/2 hrs. from my home. When the kids were little we used to come there often to hike in the summer, and to see the snow.
A lot of work for this fun post.
