Welcome to Big Bear Lake, California, a resort town in the mountains high above Los Angeles. We have a beautiful seven-mile-long lake for summer water sports, and two ski resorts for winter fun. We're at about 7000' feet elevation, smack-dab in the middle of the San Bernardino National Forest -- blue skies and pine trees everywhere!

It sure look pretty there. I love mountains and lots of trees. Somehow I ended up living almost at sea level.
